Help Us Meet the Need

Donate Livestock, Milk or Cash

Make a tangible difference to those in need. Community organisations, individuals and farmers can all make a difference.

When you choose to donate livestock, only a portion of your animal’s value is deducted from your cull sheet.

Who We Help

There's More to Food Insecurity Than a Single Narrative

Food insecurity affects a wide range of people and families who are struggling to make ends meet, despite their best efforts. Nutrition becomes a discretionary expense, sacrificed for more urgent bills.

Day-to-day Decisions Aren't So Trivial For Some People

  • Stay warm or eat?
  • Pay for a child to go to camp or eat?
  • Pay the rent or eat?
  • Fix the car or eat?
  • Repair the fridge or eat?

The main reasons recorded for needing kai support this year are increased rent/mortgage and increased food costs.
