Green Meadows Beef and Meet the Need Strengthen Partnership to Help Feed New Zealand Families

A growing partnership between premium grass-fed beef brand Green Meadows Beef and Meet the Need is set to make it even easier for New Zealanders to support families experiencing food insecurity.

After first partnering in May 2024, Green Meadows Beef and Meet the Need are expanding their collaboration with a new way for customers to donate directly to the charity at the online checkout .

Since the partnership began, Green Meadows Beef has generously supplied over 5,000 protein meals to communities across Taranaki through Meet the Need. These donations have included nutritious items such as meatballs, patties and sausages, helping provide essential protein to families accessing local food banks.

Now, Green Meadows is building on that support by introducing a simple donation option on their website powered by Tauranga-based software platform GoGenerosity. When customers purchase Green Meadows beef products online, they can choose to add a $2, or a custom donation to their order. All donations will be passed on in full to Meet the Need each month and used to provide much-needed protein to food banks and community groups across the country.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening communities and ensuring more New Zealand families have access to nutritious food.

“Green Meadows Beef has already shown incredible generosity through the protein they’ve donated to help feed families in need,” said Zellara Holden, General Manager of Meet the Need.

“By introducing this new donation option, they’re making it easy for their customers to be part of the solution too. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us deliver essential protein to food banks and community organisations supporting people who are doing it tough.”
